A nut, a shell, a second life
Giresun, on Turkey's Black Sea coast, has harvested hazelnuts for generations. What's left is the hard shell. Too tough to throw away, too much to leave lying.
We press and carbonise that shell into charcoal. No tree has to go, and no chemical binder comes near it. The material was already there. We turn it into fire.

It all starts as shell left over after the nut harvest. A by-product, not a felled forest.

No smell of its own, no aftertaste. You taste what you grill, or what's in the bowl.

Every batch goes past the lab for fixed carbon, ash and moisture before it leaves the factory.
